Electronic Submissions

Full papers of 12 pages max to be submitted in PDF in the EquinOCS system to the following link:

https://equinocs.springernature.com/service/CableCon2023

By submitting a manuscript to the conference, the submitting Author confirms that the manuscript is original and compliant with the publishing ethics given at https://www.springer.com/de/authors-editors/editors/publishing-ethics-for-journals/4176  which refers to journals, but applies here as well. In case Third Party Material is contained in the manuscript, the Author confirms that he/she has obtained written permission(s) from or on behalf of the respective rights holder at the Author's expense.

Important Dates

• Paper submission: January 22, 2023 (Individual extensions are available on request)
• Deadline for review submission : February 20, 2023
• Notification of acceptance: March 1, 2023
• Final paper: March 15, 2023

Presentation and Proceedings

• The conference language is English.
• Proceedings will be published by Springer.

Instructions for Authors

In general, all authors should follow the Springer Manuscript Guidelines, in addition to the few specific instructions listed below.

Initial Submission

• Language: English
• Page limit: 12 pages
• Document format: PDF
• Please include in the manuscript all the names of the authors, their affiliations and their e-mail addresses.

Please use one of the following typesetting systems

LaTeX users

• LaTeX template and instructions: LaTeX template 
  
• The readme.txt file provides instructions
• Note: Copy all files from the templates and styles folders to get started quickly

MS Word users

• Word template and instructions: MS Word template  
  
• The readme-T1-book.pdf file provides instructions
• Note: Users of MS word 2007 and later, see the last page of PDF document

Final submission

• Document format: PDF
• Source files: all TEX, BIB, DOC or DOCX files must also be submitted
• LaTeX images: all images must be in the EPS format and submitted separately
• Word images: graphics and diagrams should be included in the EPS format, while photos should be included in the TIFF format with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi
• All images must be submitted separately in the EPS and TIFF formats even though they are also in the DOC/DOCX file
• Each manuscript must include an abstract

Registration

At least one author per final submission must register for the conference. Otherwise the paper can be removed from the proceedings.
